Dr. Dipal Patel is an Internist who has been practicing medicine and providing Primary care services in Charlotte County since 2000 and is one of the founders of Cardiology and Vascular Care Center.

She completed her medical school training in 1992 at M.P. Shah Medical College of Saurashtra University in India. Following medical school, She joined postgraduate residency training in Dermatology at Bapunagar General Hospital of Gujarat University. Subsequently, she immigrated to the United States and pursued research in radiation oncology at the Cleveland Clinic.

She completed her internal medicine training at the University of Florida in Jacksonville where she was asked to serve as chief resident in 1999. She then moved to Charlotte County in 2000 and joined a new Veterans Affairs outpatient clinic as one of its founding providers. She was proud to serve our nation’s Veterans and managing their complex medical problems for almost 13 years before transitioning to private practice.

In 2013, she joined Cardiology and Vascular Care Center and has been committed to providing comprehensive primary care services to patients in our community. She is a strong proponent of preventative care to promote long term health and well-being of her patients. She advocates for women’s health issues and enjoys taking care of elderly patients with complex medical needs.

She is a proud mother of two girls and enjoys art, meditation, travelling and reading.
