Kristin Sakadales

MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Kristin Sakadales, APRN, has dedicated more than 20 years to healthcare, beginning as a certified nursing assistant in high school and later spending over 14 years in pharmacy before transitioning into nursing. After earning her BSN at the University of New Mexico, she cared for Veterans at the Tampa VA Hospital, working with patients affected by spinal cord injuries and progressive neurological diseases such as ALS. She also served in a VA primary care clinic, where she witnessed firsthand the critical shortage of primary care providers. That experience inspired her to pursue advanced practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner to help meet the growing demand for patient-centered care.

Kristin went on to complete a master’s degree in nursing education at Grand Canyon University and taught pre-licensure BSN students at Aspen University while continuing bedside practice as a registered nurse. She later earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at United States University and has since dedicated her work to primary care in the community setting.

She believes strongly in a patient’s right to self-determination and in the value of evidence-based practice to enhance quality of life. Kristin has always felt called to be a healer and considers it an honor to walk alongside patients in their health journey. Having returned to the Port Charlotte area to be closer to family, she is happy to call Southwest Florida home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, and being part of the community.
